Sailor Wabi Sabi Fountain Pen - Red (Bespoke Limited Edition)

The Sailor Bespoke Limited Edition Wabi Sabi Red Fountain Pen is made of Ebonite with Urushi coating. Each piece is painstakingly designed using the “Irogasane Sabinuri” technique developed by the Urushi artist Wayo Shimamori which gives each pen that rough texture, yet polished appearance and a bit of metallic sheen.

Limited to 88 pieces worldwide, the Wabi Sabi Green Fountain Pen is adorned with a 21K with gold plating and is only available in Medium and Broad nib sizes.

Special Care: In order to protect the Sabinuri Urushi lacquer, posting the cap is not recommended.

Behind the Name:

The Wabi Sabi series is designed on a special spiritual concept from ancient Japan based on the values of "Wabi" and "Sabi".

Wabi is the feeling in the heart of calmness, of quiet, and of simple appearance.
